Pottery

I n̶e̶e̶d̶ want to get some more. Some more by Naomi. Mike Cinelli and Tim Kowalczyk, and Eric Heerspink.
Some of these ceramic pots are so fine, they do not look like ceramic. I admire mastering the craft. But, I wonder how the artist feels. They have had to repeat to get to that level and then, excitement of trying something new is gone! Also, the clay/mud part is kind of hidden. The feeling of connection to history and nature (through mud) is kind of lost.

Notes by Betsy Morningstar These are pretty and cool stuff. I wish they were a little thicker and the plates had a bigger flat surface. Notes on them are fun too.
She has a pretty last name. I am gonna name my daughter Nightstar or Shootingstar!

Her notes are funny. deep. painful. And the pictures on the yellow table and walnut-looking table is taken by me. The rest, I stole form her Instagram!

Art by Kassie Smith Some of the pieces towards the end of this album are featured in pottery making illustrated. I’ve been lucky to know her and own stuff made by her.

Things I made! Pottery is so much fun. Till I make my own studio …
